Marathon produces propane at all seven of its refineries. Propane is primarily used for home heating, as a feedstock within the petrochemical industry, for cooking, for grain drying, and as fuel for forklifts, trucks and other vehicles.

Production Information
Propane is produced and sold in Canton, Ohio; Catlettsburg, Ky.; Detroit, Mich.; Garyville, La.; Robinson, Ill.; St. Paul Park, Minn.; and Texas City, Texas. Odorized propane is also sold at truck racks in Woodhaven, Mich. and Princeton, Ind.

Transportation
Propane is shipped via pipeline, rail and truck from our refineries.
